First year head coach Brandon Miller has had an up and down season, but has helped Butler battle to a 3-14 Big East mark and 13-16 overall record.

Seton Hall is coming off of a 71-62 victory over Xavier. They were led by Brian Oliver with 20 points (5/10 3PT), while Gene Teague and Fuquan Edwin each added 17 points. The Pirates now sit in 8th place in the Big East. Seton Hall is led by Edwin who averages a team-high 15.2 points per game, while sophomore guard Sterling Gibbs averages 13.8 points and 4.3 assists per game. Kevin Willard has the Pirates at .500 in his 4th season in New Jersey.

Players to Watch

Kellen Dunham - The Bulldogs' leading scorer looks to bounce back after a 6 point effort against DePaul. The sophomore did collect a career-high 9 rebounds against the Blue Demons, but shot just 2/12 from the field. Dunham is averaging 16.4 points per game. He is shooting 34.1% from three and 81% from the free throw line. Dunham scored 9 points on 3/10 shooting in the first meeting with the Pirates.

Khyle Marshall - Marshall continues to have a great senior campaign. The senior forward is second on the team in scoring (14.9) and rebounding (4.7). He has been extremely efficient from the field shooting 52.8%, which ranks 4th in the Big East. Marshall finished with a team-high 13 points in the first meeting with Seton Hall.

Andrew Chrabascz - Chrabascz had a breakout performance in his first start of the season in the first meeting with Seton Hall. The freshman scored 11 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. He is now averaging 6.3 points and 3.1 rebounds on the year and has really come into his own after being inserted into the starting lineup.

Sterling Gibbs - Gibbs leads the Pirates in assists at 4.3 per contest and is second on the team in scoring at 13.8 points per game. The talented floor general ranks 4th in the Big East in assists. The sophomore guard finished with 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists against Butler in the first meeting.

Fuquan Edwin - Edwin leads the Pirates in scoring at 15.2 points per game. He also is averaging 3.6 points, 1.7 assists, and a Big East-best 2.9 steals per game. Gene Teague - Teague is averaging 10.8 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds per game. The senior center leads the Big East in field goal percentage at 62.3%. He finished with 13 points (6/7 FG) and 6 rebounds in the first meeting with Butler.

Keys to the Game

Containing Edwin - Edwin was difficult for the Bulldogs to stop in the first meeting between these two teams. He finished with 20 points on 8/18 shooting, including 4/7 from three. He was also extremely disruptive on the offensive end for Butler, grabbing 6 steals. Butler will need to limit Edwin's opportunities to make impact plays on both the offensive and defensive end.

Turnovers - Butler is averaging just 10 turnovers per game, which is tied for 1st in the Big East, while Seton Hall is averaging 12.4 per game, ranking 8th in the Big East. Despite the 6 steals by Edwin, Butler turned the ball over just 11 times against Seton Hall in the first meeting. Seton Hall had just 10 turnovers of their own.

Senior Day - It will be an emotional day for Khyle Marshall and Erik Fromm as they see the court for most likely last time in Hinkle Fieldhouse. Unless the Bulldogs pull off a run to the Big East Tournament finals, Butler is unlikely to make a post-season tournament. The Bulldogs will need to keep their emotions in check, but also feed off of the energy. It is the end of two careers that saw a Final Four and Championship game appearance against UConn.
