INDIANAPOLIS (IN) - After originally planning to take five visits, 2014 forward Jackson Davis decided that two was enough.
The 3-star power forward has committed to Butler.
The senior forward from Lexington (KY) Lafayette High School unofficially visited Butler and took his 2nd official visit to Alabama before making his decision.
After committing to Rice earlier in the year, Davis decommitted from the Owls and opened up his options. He then became one of the most highly sought after recruits in the class of 2014 this spring.
The 6-foot 8 forward averaged nearly 25 points and 14 rebounds during his senior season.
Davis teams up with fellow Kentucky Mr. Basketball finalist Kelan Martin, another member of the class of 2014 for Butler, in Indianapolis.
The class of 2014 now consists of Tyler Wideman (IN), Kelan Martin (KY), and Jackson Davis (KY) to go along with incoming transfers Austin Etherington (IN, immediately elgible) and Tyler Lewis (NC, sits out 2014-15).
