Ford Continues to Progress

2015 F Sajon Ford, St. Petersburg (FL) Gibbs High School, has continued to improve over the past year and has picked up a few more offers.

INDIANAPOLIS (IN) - As the summer AAU schedules gets underway, prospects in the class of 2015 begin to narrow their list, pick up offers, and make decision on where they will play basketball at the next level.

Sajon Ford picked up early offers last summer from Florida Gulf Coast, Xavier, Butler, Auburn, and Georgia. Now more programs are reaching out to Ford as he continues to improve and progress.

"My skill and my strength is constantly improving," Ford told InsideTheDawgPound. "So I have to keep working hard to make sure every aspect of my game gets better."

That work in the off-season has led to more schools taking notice. The 6-foot 11 forward has recently picked up offers from Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern, and Tulane. He has also seen increased interest from Clemson, Tennessee, Purdue, and Alabama.

Despite not receiving offers from a couple of those schools yet, they have certainly been recruiting him with vigor and made an impression on the talented 2015 forward.

"Clemson is standing out the most, but Tennessee and Purdue are coming strong as well."

Ford will continue to play this AAU season with Team Marreese Speights this coming summer as the early signing period and his senior season approaches.
