Dunham connected on 10/12 free throws and 7/12 field goals in route to his game-high 26 points. He also finished 2/5 from 3-point range.
Kameron Woods also had a big game. He collected his first double-double of the season, scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-high 16 rebounds.
The Bulldogs were able to hang onto the ball against the 'Chaos' defense from Chattanooga and 2nd year head coach Will Wade. Butler turned the ball over just 11 times, while the Mocs had 19 turnovers, leading to 25 points.
Butler shot poorly in the 1st half against the Mocs. The Bulldogs finished 8/23 from the field and 6/12 from the FT line in the opening half. They led just 25-22 at the break.
In the 2nd half the Bulldogs were able to capitalize on 11 Moc turnovers and outscored Chattanooga 45-26 over the final 20 minutes.
Chattanooga was led by guard Casey Jones with 14 points (3/9 PG, 8/10 FT) and long-range specialist Eric Robertson off the bench with 12 points (4/5 3PT).
Butler finished 22/53 (41.5%) from the field including 5/13 (38.5%) from the 3-point line, while Chattanooga finished 16/47 (34%) from the field including 6/20 (30%) from the 3-point line.
It was over when...Butler went on a 16-5 run during the middle of the 2nd half and extended its lead to 57-39 with 4:23 to go in the game.
