Recruiting Buzz: Butler Targets 2015 Forward

While Butler has two prospects committed to their Class of 2015, Butler is looking to add more.

INDIANAPOLIS (IN) - Butler is looking to add a few prospects to their 2015 class and it appears that the Bulldogs have honed in on another prospect from Ohio.

After the Bulldogs signed Moeller (OH) High School center Nate Fowler, they are back in Ohio looking at his AAU teammate Kipper Nichols.

Nichols and Fowler play together for the King James Shooting Stars, which also featured former targets Luke Kennard and Kyle Ahrens.

Nichols, a 6-foot-6 200 pound forward from St. Edwards (OH) High School, has offers from the likes of Clemson, Xavier, Tulane, Nebraska, Maryland, Minnesota, Dayton, and Northwestern.

While Butler had potentially tested the waters earlier in his recruitment, it now looks like Butler will be express serious interest in trying to sign the Lakewood, OH star.

Nichols will receive a visit from Butler head coach Chris Holtmann this weekend.

The Bulldogs would like to add at least two more prospects to the class of 2015 and are looking at both seniors and potential transfers.
