InsidetheDawgound keeps track of who will be visiting for the game against No.6 Villanova.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - In what could be billed as one of the biggest games to ever be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse, No.18 Butler will play host to No.6 Villanova.

The Bulldogs are sure to host numerous prospects ranging from the class of 2015-18. Butler recently hosted 2017 forwards Kris Wilkes and Jaren Jackson, both of which landed offers from Chris Holtmann and Butler. Who will visit for the biggest game at Hinkle this season?

Come follow along and discuss the list of recruits that will be visiting for the Big East battle for 1st place.

The meeting will be the second of the season as Villanova (21-2, 8-2) defeated Butler (18-6, 8-3) 67-55 in Philadelphia on New Year's Eve. The conference opener for both squads featured a tight first half where Villanova led just 36-32 at the break. The Wildcats were able to put the Bulldogs away in the second half and were led by Ryan Arcidiacono with 15 points and 5 assists, while Jayvaughn Pinkston addd 13 points and 3 rebounds. Butler was led by senior guard Alex Barlow and sophomore Andrew Chrabascz who each had 12 points.

Both teams have improved from that point and are playing well of late.

The Bulldogs have won 5 straight, their longest winning streak of the season, and sit just 1/2 game behind 1st place Villanova. The Bulldogs defeated DePaul in their last game 83-73 and will have a week to prepare for the showdown at Hinkle.

Junior guard Kellen Dunham, who scored just 10 points in the first meeting (4/10 FG), leads Butler in scoring at 16.7 points per game, while redshirt junior Roosevelt Jones has rounded into form as well, averaging 13 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Chrabascz has also stepped up on the frontline for Butler and is now averaging 11.2 points while shooting 47.8% FG.

The Wildcats still have one hurdle to clear before the game next Saturday as they face 3rd-place Providence on Wednesday. They were victorious in their last outing against Georgetown 69-53. Senior guard Darrun Hilliard II leads Villanova in scoring at 13.3 points per game, while Josh Hart and Arcidiacono each add 10 points per game.

The matchup should be one of the best in the Big East this season and the atmosphere should be electric in what is sure to be a sold out Hinkle Fieldhouse. The student tickets have already sold out and the DawgPound will be ready to go.

Saturday can only get here soon enough.
