Players to Watch

Kelan Martin: The sophomore-rise of Martin continued with a third straight performance for the Dawgs. The sophomore led Butler with 25 points off the bench against Tennessee and won Big East Player-of-the-Week honors. The sophomore is averaging 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.

Tyler Wideman: Wideman and the rest of the Butler front court will have their hands full with the talented and very tall Purdue front court. The combination of Haas, Hammons, and Swanigan are NBA caliber and could provide issues for the Bulldogs. The sophomore center will need to be physical, but also careful not to get in foul trouble. He is currently averaging a 10 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Caleb Swanigan: The freshman forward/center has been a beast on the inside for the Boilermakers. Swanigan is currently averaging 9.9 points and a team-leading 9.2 rebounds per game in team-high 27.2 minutes per game. After two straight double-doubles against Howard and IUPUI, Swanigan scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds against Youngstown State.

Rapheal Davis: Davis is Purdue's best scorer from the perimeter. The senior wing is averaging 11.6 points per game while shooting 52.7% from the field including 50% from 3-point range. He is also connecting on 80% of his free throw attempts. Davis has scored in double-figures in 6 of 7 games he has played this season.
