Nose guard Tuni Kanuch goes head up with guard Solomone Kafu during one-on-one drills. Kanuch and Kafu are considered two of the strongest linemen in the program.
Tight end Devin Mahina makes a catch over the middle from the flex-tight end position. At 6 feet 6 inches and 247 pounds, Mahina is expected to contribute a lot within the offense as one of the more experienced tight ends in the program.

King is ready to square off against Brad Wilcox from the right defensive tackle position. Although King is young, he has a bright future ahead of him at BYU.
In speaking of bright futures, inside linebacker Manoa Pikula is going to give BYU fans a lot to cheer about. Pikula is a tough and aggressive linebacker who moves very well from side to side and will be a key feature in Coach Mendenhall's defense for years to come.

Despite the referee calling him out of bounds on the catch, the replay showed that Mathews' feet were actually in bounds. Mathews protested the call after the referee called him out.
Adam Hine takes a swing pass and runs to the outside of the defense. Hine is the third in a trio of backs that will see a lot of playing time in BYU's backfield this year.
In the ninth series of the spring game, Lasike rushed four times for 84 yards and a touchdown. Here Lasike takes the hand off, breaks a few tackles and runs downfield to score a touchdown that ended the day's events.
