Boise State-BYU Game moved to Thursday, Oct. 30

A nationally televised match up between BYU and Boise State has been moved to Thursday, October 30, at 5:30 p.m (MT) in Provo. Mountain West Conference and ESPN officials announced the game was moved from Friday, October 31.

MWC officials said ESPN contacted both schools recently to see if each would be willing to move the game from Friday night to Thursday, which also meant switching from ESPN2 to ESPN.

"Initially, we were a little reluctant to play a home game on Halloween night," BYU athletics director Val Hale said. "When ESPN asked if we would be willing to play on Thursday, instead of Friday, we jumped at the chance."
