BYU freshman kicker Jake Oldroyd indicated that senior punter Jonny Linehan had taken him under his wing and helped him during his brief time as a Cougar. Linehan told Jake Hatch today that Oldroyd is his own man. Linehan also talked about how his own play has evolved. He says he has hopes to continue playing football beyond this season. He also said he loves the rivalry with Utah but believes there is a rivalry that is bigger than the Holy War.
