Adam Pulsipher Excited for Poinsettia Bowl

BYU sophomore linebacker Adam Pulsipher spoke with Jake Hatch on Friday morning about heading to San Diego to face Wyoming in the 2016 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

BYU linebacker Adam Pulsipher is from Temecula, California, which is about an hour north of San Diego, where the BYU Cougars will face Wyoming on December 21 in the 2016 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. He said that he has a lot of family and friends who likely will be in the stands to cheer him and his teammates on. Pulsipher said having a chance to play with his brother, Addison, has been a great experience. Pulsipher said that he has enjoyed this season, playing mainly in relief of Butch Pau'u. He said that the shift to a 4-3 defense has freed the linebackers up to make more plays. He also said that he's enjoying he new defensive philosophy. Adam Pulsipher is married to BYU women's basketball star McKenzie Pulsipher and said that balancing marriage with school and their respective sports takes work but that he enjoys supporting her on the court. He said that they have to plan ahead of time for their busy schedules to not completely overlap one another.
