BYU Recruiting Tidbits

Former JC All-American cornerback and kick return specialist <b>Eddie Scipio</b> remains on track to receive his AA degree later this fall and still plans to enroll at BYU in January as a mid-year scholarship recipient.

* Standout prep offensive lineman Tevita Stevens, from Hemet, Calif., confirmed he has two firm offers from UTEP and Idaho. He added that BYU, Utah and Nevada, are still showing interest and have requested more film on him. He hopes to have more offers as the season continues. Stevens is the captain of his team, which is undefeated at 7-0, and currently ranked No. 2 in CIF Div. 5.

Defensive lineman Mataele Pau'u said he lists BYU, Utah, and Arizona as his top three college choices right now, adding he will make his decision after the football season.
