Recruit Update: Matt Asiata

TBS recently caught up with Hunter High School Running Back Matt Asiata. There is still a chance the prep star could wear Cougar blue this fall.

According to Matt Asiata, BYU is still holding a scholarship for him. If he passes the ACT, he will be going to BYU.

"One more week, and then I will know if I passed," Asiata said. "I haven't signed with anybody. So if I pass then it's BYU."

The 5'10" 180-pound running back from Hunter High School said he needs a passing score of 17 to qualify. TBS will check with him next week to find out if he will be playing for BYU next year.

When asked if he signed at Dixie College, he said no. He sounded excited to hear back about his score. BYU must be really impressed with this prospect, considering they are already loaded at RB, yet they seem to still be bending over backwards to help him get in.
