TBS caught up with his high school coach and got some more info that should continue to stagger.
"In the 11 years I've coached football he is by far the best running back I've ever coached," Coach Morgan said. "His work ethic is just amazing. Last year as a junior he was named best offensive player, All-State, and All-Region."
The 5'10" 205-pound back who goes by "Harry" is said to always be in the weight room.
"When most kids are out fishing Harry is in the Weight room," Coach Morgan said. "He is so strong. He benches 360, and is just a hard nose player."
Coach Morgan said his strengths are his amazing balance and vision. Collins is remarkably fast but due to a recent groin injury his forty speed has been slowed to a 4.69.
Harry Collins plays in an "Independent" league in Georgia for private schools. The school Harry attends only has about 150 people, and is great for academics.
Its typically hard for players in the Independent league to get the exposure they need from Division I schools, but Coach Morgan said that he has already had a lot of coaches calling about his main man Harry Collins.
"We return 9 starters on offense next year," Coach Morgan said. "As a coach I'm excited. And no matter what other teams try to do to stop Harry, they won't be able to stop him."
This summer Collins plans on going to local college football camps to show off his game, along with a combine in Tallahassee, Florida.
Coach Clint Morgan feels BYU would be getting a steal of deal with Collins.
"He is a perfect running back for BYU," Morgan said. "He comes from a Mormon family and would love to go there."
TBS will follow up with Coach Morgan as the summer progresses to find out what colleges are showing interest. BYU coaches are aware of Collins and have been in contact with him.
