Recruit Profile: Scott Milligan

BYU coaches are spending a great deal of time evaluating talent in the Lone Star State this recruiting season. Scott Milligan is a defensive prospect who has received attention from the Cougars of late.

BYU coaches continues to blaze along the recruiting trails this summer and are hot after Texas defensive end prospect Scott Milligan.

"Coach Mitchell just came by my high school the other day," Milligan said. "He dropped off a brochure and said he looks forward to getting to know me."

The 6'3", 250-pound DE, is hearing from BYU, TCU, Houston, Baylor, SMU, and LSU. He said that BYU and SMU are recruiting him the hardest. Milligan is LDS, and said that if BYU offered he would jump all over it.

"I went to the BYU camp last summer," Milligan said. "And I plan on going again this summer."

Milligan said he has a brother who attends BYU, who went and talked to the coaches about him, and he also sent BYU highlight film.

"Last season I had 68 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 pass break up, and 12 tackles for loss," Milligan said. "I was named all-district and honorable mention all-state."

Milligan who attends Robinson High School, in Texas said he plays in district 17 level 3-A.

Along with the BYU camp, Milligan plans on going to camps at the University of Texas, Baylor, SMU, and Houston.
