Nomani Still in Play?

Having completed his official trip to the Corvallis campus, the 6-6, 280 LDS offensive line prospect made an oral commitment to coaches to sign a letter of intent with the Beavers this coming February. But how solid is Nomani's commitment? TBS caught up with Nomani and got his thoughts

"I'm going to sign a letter of intent with Oregon State on Letter of Intent," stated a confident Mau Nomani. "I've made my decision and I'm not looking at other schools. My commitment is solid."

Nomani had been considering BYU, Oregon and some other schools, but when it came down to it, Oregon State just blew him away. "I was just blown away by the coaches and especially Coach Cavanaugh who coaches the offensive line," said Nomani. "He's exactly the type of coach I want to play for."

Nomani has definite mission plans, but states that Oregon State is more than willing to work with those plans and will have a scholarship for him when he gets back. In the meantime, Nomani plans on canceling all other trips as he focuses on finishing his senior season before signing on to play for the Beavers this February.
