Friday night at 7:05, BYU takes on British Columbia's Abbotsford Rangers. During the teams' first meeting, BYU pulled out a 1-0 win in a torrential downpour in Canada. Abbotsford (10) trails BYU (15) by five points in the PDL's Northwest Division standing. The Rangers sit at 3-2-1, while BYU enjoys a 5-1 record.
Friday's game will be broadcast live on BYU-TV.
On Saturday at 7:30, the Cougars will have a chance to avenge their only loss of the season when they square off against the Cascade Surge of Salem, Oregon. At 2-4, the Surge have not fared well since blanking the Cougars 2-0. BYU, on the other hand, rattled off four consecutive wins.
After this weekend, the Cougars head to Phoenix, Arizona to take on the Arizona Sahuaros in the first round of the 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The game starts at 7:30 at Grand Canyon University Soccer Field.
