In what has become almost a ridiculous trend, BYU has received yet another commitment. This time they received help for an already strong linebacking corps. BYU beat out Utah and the Big XII's Nebraska for the services of this player.
football team received their 21st verbal commitment to sign a letter of intent in February 2007.
Tyler Beck, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound outside linebacker of Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California, has chosen to attend BYU. He turned down offers from Nebraska, Portland State and Utah.
Total Blue Sports was able to confirm his commitment through his mother Diana.
"We're very excited that he chose to commit to BYU," she said. "As a mother, I'm glad, because it was his choice and BYU was where he wanted to be."
