BYU seems to have put all its eggs in one basket as far as official recruiting visits are concerned. This weekend, nearly two dozen high school and JC football players will be in Provo to tour campus, check out the facilities, eat a lot of great food, and hit the trails on the snowmobiles—an event that many young prospects report as the highlight of their trip.
Of the 25 recruits currently committed to play for BYU, 21 will be on campus this weekend. Three of the 21 (Austen Jorgensen, Ryan Kessman, and Cade Cooper) are already enrolled as students, but the other 18 will be taking on their official recruiting trip.
In addition to the committed recruits, two uncommitted prospects also have trips scheduled for this weekend. Tight end recruit Devin Mahina and defensive line recruit Christian Tupou – both from California – will be on hand to see if BYU is a place they want to call home for the next four years.
TotalBlueSports.com will check in with both recruits as soon as they return home to get their take on their visits. TBS will also get the rundown of the weekend's events from the already-committed recruits.
