Junior wide receiver Michael Reed has been very involved with the offense. Having been on the receiving end multiple times from both quarterbacks Max Hall and Cade Cooper throughout spring practice, Reed is asserting himself as a primary offensive weapon.
Following a redshirt year, sophomore receiver Michael Reed
was patiently waiting while putting in the type of effort that would soon translate into acrobatic catches being shown on ESPN. Now the junior receiver has been the primary target for competing quarterbacks over the course of spring practice and Monday was no exception.
During Monday's practice scrimmage, Reed was again the recipient of multiple passes, two of which he took into the end zone. The Texan has gained the confidence of his quarterbacks and that confidence is showing through early on.
