Cougar Conversations: Matt Putnam

Matt Putnam came back to BYU just a little over three months ago and has been competing hard to make an impact this year. At 6 feet 7 inches, he towers above every player on the team save for David Oswald, and is looking to use his superior stature to dominate along the defensive front.

A lot of changes have come to BYU since Matt Putnam first signed with BYU. A new head coach and a radically new defensive system are at the forefront of the changes. Inherent with these changes is a renewed program that is coming off of one of the top seasons in Cougar history. So how has Putnam adjusted to these changes? TBS caught up with Putnam to learn of his thoughts regarding the team and his own personal progress this spring.
