SDSU Game Postponed

In light of the devastating wildfires in and around San Diego, Saturday's game against the San Diego State Aztecs has been postponed.

The Mountain West Conference has decided to move the San Diego State game from October 27 to December 1. It will be played one week after the game against Utah, which was originally slated to be the regular-season finale.

The Aztecs have not been able to practice due to San Diego's poor air conditions, which reportedly make it hard to breathe when outside for an extended period of time. In addition, many San Diego residents - including members of SDSU's football staff - have had to evacuate their homes, and Qualcomm Stadium has become a temporary refuge for an estimated 10,000 people, according to the Associated Press.

Football is obviously insignificant compared to the safety and well-being of those living in and around San Diego. Total Blue Sports wishes all those affected by the wildfires well.
