Quezada Impressed with the Huskies

Joshua Quezada from La Habra High School in Southern California recently returned from a visit to Washington this past weekend and will be making at least two more unofficial visits as the summer wears on. TBS caught up with Quezada to find out about his visit and how his recruiting is general is going.

Joshua Quezada is a 6-foot, 198-pound running back prospect that is currently racking up the offers, as colleges are falling in line to offer the promising Southern California prospect. Washington recently threw its hat into the ring, and Quezada took the opportunity to go see Washington up close this past weekend.

"I really enjoyed my visit there," related Quezada. "They're a really good school and I really like Coach Sarkisian. Washington is definitely one of my favorite schools right now."

Quezada currently holds offers from BYU, Utah, Fresno State, San Diego State, New Mexico State, Colorado State, Stanford and Hawaii, along with his offer from Washington. On the heels of his visit to Washington, Quezada certainly has the Huskies well in mind.

"I could really see myself playing there," said Quezada about Washington. "I really like the school and it was great seeing it up close. Now I'm just going to make some other visits and see how they compare with Washington."

That process will begin this coming weekend, when Quezada is set to visit both Oregon and Oregon State.

"Both of those schools are recruiting me pretty hard and I think they both want to see me work out in front of them before offering," said Quezada. "Hopefully they offer. We'll just have to see how it goes."

Quezada is also trying to work out visits to both BYU and Utah currently, but doesn't know exactly when or if he'll be able to make trips to both schools.

"I like both BYU and Utah and would like to see both schools up close," informed Quezada. "My plan is to go out there right now and visit them. I just don't know exactly when right now."

So does Quezada have a favorite school in mind currently, or does he have a timetable regarding exactly when he'll commit?

"I really don't have a favorite," answered Quezada. "I want to visit some more schools right now and see how they compare with Washington since I really did like Washington. I don't know when exactly I'll decide either. I'd like to decide before this next season, but I really don't know when I'll be deciding quite yet."
