Basketball: Titans Sign Two, third on way

Cal State Fullerton has signed (or will) one high school and two junior college players for the 2012-13 basketball season.

James Johnson of Central Wyoming Community College, Marquis Horne of Salt Lake City Community College and Jared Brandon from the Maine Central Institute have signed Letters of Intent to play basketball at Cal State Fullerton next year.

Johnson, better known as Deuce, and Horne will have two years of eligibility while Brandon will have four years to play for the Titans.

Marquis Horne - Salt Lake City Community College

ESPN: January, 2009: Horne is a lefty combination forward that can get to the rim in transition as well as in the half court. He has a good pull up jumper and can finish above the rim on clear path to the rim. He has good strength that allows him to finish (Link)

Maine Central Institute: Will be facing stiff competition as it is the other Maine school that participates in the NEPAC AAA division. Jared Brandon will be asked to help shoulder the load. 6-3 guard %%MATCH_10%% will also lend a hand in their efforts. (Link)

Jared Brandon, a slashing six-foot-five forward who is already committed to Cal State Fullerton, and Sean James, a stocky and strong skilled forward from Delaware will also see time at both of the forward positions.
