AD Finalists Announced

Bill Bavasi, former vice-president and general manager for the Anaheim Angels is one of five to be interviewed for the vacant position of director of athletics at Cal State Fullerton. Do we even need to say who the other four are? Not really, but here they are anyway...

The following four persons have been scheduled to interview for the vacant position of director of athletics at Cal State Fullerton. They bring the field of finalists to five, joining Dr. Terry Wanless, former director of athletics at North Dakota, whose Nov. 8 interview schedule was announced yesterday.

TitanCentral.com Spin: Now that's more like it. November 12th looks to be the most interesting date. To me, this is a slam dunk, a no-brainer and perhaps this is why people like Wanless, Quinn and Prettyman are indeed "finalists." After hearing the rumors I was sure we would drop the ball on this one but I'm gald we didn't.

Everyone wants an on-campus arena and it's certainly not going to happen overnight but there's only one person on this short list who has the influence to make this a reality.

That's my opinion but what is yours? I've set up a poll on the Titan Talk message boards so be sure to vote.
