7-footer commits to Cal State Fullerton

Cal State Fullerton men's basketball receives second verbal. A 7'-2", 240 lb junior college transfer will be playing for the Titans in 2007-08.

Penny Valley Community College center Adam Thomas has committed to Cal State Fullerton and will make it official during the early signing period in November.

Thomas is all of 7'-2" and 240 pounds but is extremely athletic, can run the floor very well, has an effective jump-hook inside the paint and is very skilled player with great hands. The signing of Thomas will mark the first 7-footer signed by head coach Bob Burton and staff.

Thomas, who didn't play in high school, has only played two years of organized basketball. He is a small town kid who has lived his entire life in the state of Missouri but apparently was very impressed with the coaches and school in a recent visit.
