Bears Down Sonoma State in Exhibition, 106-76

In their final tuneup of the 2010-11 season, California rolled Division II Sonoma State, 106-76, in an exhibition matchup Wednesday night at Haas Pavilion...

Freshman guard Allen Crabbe paced California with 22 points, shooting 6-for-7 from the field, including 4-for-4 from behind the arc and 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. Crabbe also posted three rebounds and an assist for the game.

"Allen is very capable," head coach Mike Montgomery said.

"He had a nice tip-in that was a very good athletic move. He can shoot the ball, there is no question. I think in his mind, he thinks he should never miss, and he's not going to miss a lot of free throws because he is a very good free throw shooter. Allen needs to be reminded to play hard because he can be pretty smooth sometimes but if you get on him, he'll pick it up. I thought he played pretty well."
