Live: California at Oregon State

California closes out its disappointing 2012 campaign at Oregon State, as speculation swirls about the future of Golden Bears head coach Jeff Tedford.

Corvallis, Ore. - California (3-8, 2-6 Pac-12) ends the season at Oregon State (7-2, 5-2 Pac-12).

Final score: Oregon State 62, California 14

The Bears finish the 2012 season at 3-9, 2-7 in Pac-12 play.

9:12 p.m. - The rout is on. Sean Mannion is 18-of-24 for 239 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception.

I'm going to spend the second half writing, so barring a miracle, there won't be any updates here, aside from the final score.

Oregon State 35, California 7 with 0:15 left second quarter

8:51 p.m. - Sean Mannion is slicing up the Cal defense, completing 13-of-18 passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns, his latest a 14-yard strike to Connor Hamlett.

This is in danger of becoming an absolute whitewashing.

Oregon State 28, California 7 with 7:13 left second quarter

8:38 p.m. - Brandin Cooks' first touch of the evening is a 48-yard touchdown reception, which happened with everyone in the press box focused on the end of Stanford-Oregon. Needless to say, the fans here went ballistic when the Ducks' loss was announced over the PA.

Oregon State 21, California 7 with 10:56 left second quarter

8:14 p.m. - The Beavers score again, getting a big run right up the middle from Storm Woods to set up a 1-yard plunge from fullback Tyler Anderson.

Oregon State 14, California 7 with 4:34 left first quarter

8:04 p.m. - With Allan Bridgford struggling, the Bears turn to their ground game and drive 82 yards to tie the game. After C.J. Anderson was shaken up, Isi Sofele finished the drive with 30 yards on two carries, including a 9-yard score.

Oregon State 7, California 7 with 6:30 left first quarter

7:55 p.m. - After Allan Bridgford is picked off by Jordan Poyer on an underthrown post, Sean Mannion hits Markus Wheaton for an 11-yard touchdown, his 10th scoring grab of the year.

Oregon State 7, California 0 with 9:10 left first quarter

7:16 p.m. - BREAKING: DL Viliami Moala (concussion), OLB Brennan Scarlett (infection in his surgically repaired hand), and S Avery Sebastian (knee) did not make the trip and will not play. 7:13 p.m. - Oregon State quarterback Cody Vaz (ankle) is in uniform, but Sean Mannion saw all the reps in pre-game.

7:10 p.m. - Two roster notes: Tight end Jacob Wark is listed as the starter this evening, while walk-on quarterback Joey Mahalic, who is from Portland (Ore.) Wilson, is on the travel squad.

7:00 p.m. - A few early injury notes: DL Keni Kaufusi (broken kneecap) and DB Marc Anthony (concussion) are dressed and going through pre-game warm-ups. WR Bryce Treggs (ankle) is moving around better, and looks like he might return to action after missing the last two games.

5:55 p.m. - Good evening from Reser Stadium, where the rain has stopped for the moment. The press box is focused on the game down the road in Eugene, while Cal's focus is on the meeting that will decide Jeff Tedford's future.
