Semper Fi VIDEO: Khalfani Muhammad

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- California tailback commit Khalfani Muhammad was one of the brightest stars at the first day of practice for the West team, as he prepares for the Semper Fidelis Bowl with his future Bears teammates.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- After speaking with new California running backs coach Pierre Ingram for nearly four hours before the dead period began, Golden Bears tailback commit Khalfani Muhammad reaffirmed his commitment to Cal on Monday at practice for the Semper Fidelis Bowl, eating with future teammates Matt Anderson and Jared Goff.

During practice, Muhammad proved himself adept at catching balls out of the backfield, and blocking defensive ends up to 70 pounds bigger than him. When he rushed, Muhammad showed off his speed and acceleration, proving that he is without a doubt one of the top tailbacks on the West Coast. Top Stories
