BTTV: Drying Goff

EUGENE, Ore. -- Does Jared Goff still have a handle on the starting quarterback job? What does he think he has to do to get better? See what he thought after his mid-monsoon performance in Eugene on Saturday in this on-the-scene video.

EUGENE, Ore. -- For the first time this season, California freshman starting quarterback Jared Goff failed to throw a single touchdown pass, as he was replaced with just under three minutes left in the first quarter by redshirt freshman Zach Kline.

Goff went just 3-for-6 for 11 yards, getting sacked twice and fumbling the ball twice, with one additional drop not counted because he picked the ball back up after it slipped out of his hand on the draw-back and threw an incomplete pass to Chris Harper on the right side.

Kline went on to go 18-for-37 with one pick for 165 yards and one touchdown, taking one sack.
