BERKELEY -- The California football program announced on Tuesday that the annual spring game will be held at Kabam Field at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, April 26, with free admission, with kickoff scheduled for 11 a.m. PT.
The game will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks, which will televise all of the conference's spring games.
Last spring, NFL All-Pro running back Marshawn Lynch made a surprise appearance, rushing for a touchdown on a handoff from starting quarterback Jared Goff. A series of activities in conjunction with the 2014 spring game and practices will be announced at a later time, along with the remainder of the team's 2014 spring football schedule. Spring practice is expected to begin the week of March 31, pushed back, in part, because of Goff's recovery from a separated shoulder, suffered during the 116th Big Game, on a hit from Stanford linebacker Shayne Skov.
