MLK Classic: Oscar Frayer Makes Haas Debut

BERKELEY -- Oscar Frayer makes his first foray onto Pete Newell Court at Haas Pavilion, and does it in style, scoring 18 points to lift Hayward (Calif.) Moreau Catholic to a 68-67 win over Ben Koné and San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty in front of his future coach Cuonzo Martin.



BERKELEY -- For the first time, 2016 California commit Oscar Frayer hit Pete Newell Court at Haas Pavilion on Monday, as part of the 18th Annual MLK Classic. Frayer was pitted against San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty and the Monarchs' own 2016 standout, forward Ben Kone. Frayer put on a show in front of future teammates and his future coaches Cuonzo Martin, Tracy Webster and Jon Harris, going 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from three-point range, scoring 18 points in a 68-67 win, adding a team-high five rebounds in 32 minutes.
