RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- California running back commit Derrick Clark was the third commit for the Golden Bears in the 2016 class, and he’s since been joined by 10 more pledges, including six in a recent eight-day span. A lot has changed about Cal’s recruiting class, but Clark is as solid as ever, as he talks about his fellow prospects at the Bears’ satellite camp on the campus of Riverside City College.
“The talent there is unbelievable,” Clark said on Sunday. “We’re going to be one of the best in the country.”
Clark, who’s working on increasing his speed this summer, will be a mid-year enrollee for the Bears, just like Sacramento (Calif.) running back Lonny Powell was this past spring.
