Bear Republic Podcast: Breaking Vegas

Which Cal targets performed well in Las Vegas last week? We break down the top prospects in the 2016 and 2017 classes, and beyond ...

We're back this week to recap the big week of basketball in Las Vegas, breaking down the top performers on California's board from each class.

Starting in 2016, the Bears are dialed in on fast-rising center Jayce Johnson, who's scored 10 offers in the last month. Point guard Charlie Moore also impressed many throughout the week, as did Folsom (Calif.) point guard Jordan Ford.

A pair of East Coast big men were also in Cal's crosshairs, and took home the adidas Uprising Super 64 title to conclude the week, with Cal coaches looking on.

The 2017 class was headed by top performances from Ira Lee and Troy Brown (and his Las Vegas Prospects teammate Charles O'Bannon), while Daejon Davis stuck out on the Seattle Rotary AAU team, and Jaylen Hands showed off his passing abilities.

Of course, don't forget the youngsters, headed by 2018 posts Jordan Brown and Miles Norris, each of whom showed plenty of skill, and each of whom have Cal offers.
