What Does Cal Need to Improve on Before Facing Utah on Game Day?

Cal's win over Washington State certainly wasn't pretty, especially in one crucial phase of the game ...

As of Sunday morning, California has risen to No. 22 in the Amway Coaches Poll, and No. 23 in the AP Top 25. Next week's opponent -- Utah -- has risen to No. 7 in both polls, setting up a big showdown in Salt Lake City next Saturday. Cal will appear on ESPN's College Game Day for the first time since the Bears and the Oregon Ducks were on Game Day back in 2007, when Cal was ranked No. 6 and Oregon was ranked No. 11.
