Cal tight end Stephen Anderson has been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine

We went into the tape vault and pulled out practice film of Cal tight end Stephen Anderson, who's headed to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

California tight end Stephen Anderson came to Berkeley as a 6-foot-2, 209-pound receiver, and is leaving as a 6-foot-3, 230-pound tight end, and, after a senior year in which he caught 41 balls for 474 yards, he's been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine.

During his career in Berkeley, Anderson went from walk-on to scholarship player, and finishes his time in the blue and gold with 101 receptions for 1,260 yards, with his best season coming as a junior in 2014, when he set career highs in catches (46), yards (661) and touchdowns (5), averaging a career-best 4.6 catches per game, and 14.4 yards per reception in 10 games, missing the first two games due to a lower-leg injury.
