Cal freshman forward Jaylen Brown threw down the hammer for the Pac-12 Dunk of the Night

BERKELEY -- Cal freshman Jaylen Brown went 7-of-16 from the field for 16 points in Cal's win over No. 11 Oregon at Haas Pavilion.

BERKELEY -- California freshman Jaylen Brown started off Thursday night's 83-63 win over No. 11 Oregon with a three-pointer and a thunderous dunk. The tone-setting jam earned him the Pac-12 Dunk of the Night honors, on night when senior point guard Tyrone Wallace returned to the lineup after being sidelined for five games with a broken bone in his hand.

Brown  went 7-of-16 from the field and 2-of-3 from three-point range, pulling down four rebounds and dishing out three assists, adding a block and a steal in 33 minutes. Brown, who's averaging 3.1 turnovers per game this season, only had one against a high-pressure Ducks defense.
