Cal inks American River linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk to National letter of Intent

American River linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk officially signs his National Letter of Intent with California, and will enroll in the fall.

California head football coach Sonny Dykes officially announced on Wednesday the signing of American River College linebacker Jordan Kunaszyk, who, after taking a redshirt year at American River, will have three years to play three in Berkeley.

“Jordan was as productive as any junior college linebacker in the country last season,” Dykes said. “He’s a good athlete with excellent size and great range. We expect him to compete for a starting spot at linebacker right away, as well as jump into the mix on special teams because of his size, strength and athleticism. Jordan is exactly the type of player we are looking for.”

The 27th member of the Bears' 2016 recruiting class.
