Cal and Hawaii's College Football Sydney Cup will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2

Cal and Hawaii's Sydney, Australia kickoff will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Pacific on either ESPN or ESPN2.

California officially announced on Wednesday that the College Football Sydney Cup will be televised on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The Bears will open the 2016 season as the home team against Hawai’i in Australia at the College Football Sydney Cup at the 83,000-seat ANZ Stadium in Sydney. That game will kick off at noon, local time, on Sat., Aug. 27, which in the United States, will be broadcast on Friday, Aug. 26 at 7 p.m., Pacific.

The game will be the first college football game ever in Sydney (the third in Australia and first since 1987). Cal and Hawai’i have spilt the four games they have played, last meeting in Berkeley in 1994.

The Bears will then have a bye week before heading to face San Diego State at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The rest of the schedule is below.
