Former Cal and Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch tried his hand at rugby while in Australia with the Cal football team

Marshawn Lynch joined Cal on its trip to Australia to kick off the 2016 season, and he's using his down time to learn to play rugby. Hear what Bears head coach Sonny Dykes thinks about Beast Mode's skills.

Former Seattle Seahawks and California Golden Bears running back Marshawn Lynch met his alma mater in Sydney, Australia, after working to provide clean drinking water in Africa, and after taking a few turns as the scout team running back for the Bears earlier this week, Beast Mode hit the rugby pitch. Lynch joined the South Sydney Rabbitos for a tutorial, as he spreads Beast Mode around the southern hemisphere.

Cal will kick off against Hawaii at noon on Saturday, local time, and will be televised live at 7 p.m., Pacific Time, on Friday on ESPN.
