Practice Report: Jeremiah Stuckey Retires

BERKELEY -- California got back to work on Tuesday, and though they were missing Jeremiah Stuckey, they did have Aaron Cochran and Chad Hansen.

BERKELEY -- Texas A&M transfer Jeremiah Stuckey  has retired from the California football team, according to offensive line coach Brandon Jones, but the Bears will have the services of left tackle Aaron Cochran, who was thought to have broken his foot against USC, but was unencumbered on Tuesday. Leading receiver Chad Hansen was a partial go, and looked to be well on the way to playing on Saturday at 7:30 against No. 4 Washington.

In other news from practice, cornerbacks coach John Lovett said that JuCo transfer cornerback Antoine Albert, who's been working with the scout team since Week Six, will take a redshirt this season, and come back next season, ideally.
