BERKELEY -- California quarterback Davis Webb powered through driving rain on Friday at California Memorial Stadium to complete an exhaustive 80-throw Pro Day workout in front of scouts from all 32 NFL teams and his throwing coach, Jim Zorn.

Webb, who earned MVP honors at the Reese's Senior Bowl and has been rising up NFL Draft boards, threw to former Cal running back Khalfani Muhammad, who ran a 4.35-second 40 in the morning workout portion of the event, surpassing all other running backs invited to the NFL Combine. Webb also threw to wide receiver Chad Hansen, who's projected to be taken in the second or third round, and boosted his stock with a 4.45-second 40, a full 0.1 second faster than his time at the NFL Combine.

Webb also threw to former Cal receiver Patrick Worstell and former Oakland Raiders tight end Cooper Helfet, a Larkspur (Calif.) Redwood graduate. Top Stories
