Brown Picks Up Another Pac-10 Offer

Travis Brown (6-2, 235) is approaching double-digit offers. A Northwest Pac-10 school is the latest to throw its hat into the ring for his services.

"Oregon State offered me," Brown text us Sunday night.

The Beavers offered Brown Friday bringing his total to seven, including three from the Pac-10. Arizona, Washington State, Colorado, Fresno State, Boise State, and Nevada previously offered him. OSU Linebacker Coach Greg Newhouse is recruiting Brown.

Brown has stated he would like to see offers from California, Oregon, and USC before he makes a decision. He says he is open in recruitment but favors the Bulldogs along with the aforementioned Pac-10 schools.

Clovis West begins fall practice this week. The Eagles open their season at home versus Anaheim (Calif.) Servite.
