"Arizona offered," Fellner told Scout.com.
Fellner says he will take an official visit to Tucson in December. He may trip as early as December 6 for the Arizona-Arizona State game. More than likely, he says his trip will be December 12-14. Fellner takes an official visit to Washington in January. He committed to the Huskies back in August.
"I am staying neutral," said Fellner. "I am still committed to Washington. I can't say anything until I visit [Arizona]."
Fellner says the offer from the Wildcats does intrigue him. He is still unsure of what to make of the Husky head-coaching situation. He received a hand written letter from UW Athletic Director Scott Woodward, but Fellner has not been able to reach the coaching staff. "I keep missing their calls," he said.
Nonetheless, Fellner now holds offers from UW, UA, Washington State, Stanford, San Diego State, and Air Force. He says Oregon called him Thursday night, and Colorado has really picked up their interest. He attended the Cal-Oregon game earlier this month in Berkeley but he says he is not sure how interested the Bears are. UCLA has maintained steady contact, and the Bruins have invited Fellner to the UCLA-USC game.
"I need to do my research on Arizona," said Fellner. "I need to check it out and see how it compares [to Washington]."
Fellner carries a near 4.0 GPA. He scored over 1500 on his SAT. He has recorded 70 tackles on the season from the safety spot. He has lined up at running back and receiver on offense in a limited role this season in a new offense. Clovis West opens the CIF-Central Section DI playoffs on Friday night versus Bakersfield-Liberty. The Eagles defeated Liberty in the season opener, Fellner score three touchdowns in the victory.
