Arizona State's Dymond Simon hit a three-pointer with 8.7 seconds left to give the Sun Devils a 53-52 lead. California still had a chance at victory.

Kelsey Adrian missed a layup, but Ashley Walker picked up the loose ball underneath and scored the game-winning layup.

Natasha Vital scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half, including a go-ahead basket with 39 seconds left to give the Bears a 52-50 lead.

Cal Sports Digest's Jon Doss caught up with Walker and Vital following the game in Tempe to get their thoughts on the last second win.
