Rashad Gayden has received interest form Memphis and Iowa State. He started only one game last season, playing behind Aaron Gress, who signed with Illinois. This season, Gayden is expected to start at middle linebacker.
Out of high school, Gayden's twin brother Roszell committed to Minnesota. After deciding to attend junior college in California, the Gayden twins had planned to return to Minnesota. However, they are not a package deal. Gayden says he is looking for the right school that fits him.
"We've been playing together our entire lives," said Gayden. "It's about time we go different ways."
