2011 Four-Star OL Plans Cal Visit

New Canaan (Conn.) offensive lineman Conor Hanratty was unable to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Combine after spending the offseason rehabbing from a biceps injury. Despite the setback, the four-star prospect is approaching double-digit offers. And he is planning three unofficial visits this spring, including a stop at Cal...

Conor Hanratty (6-4, 295)won't be taking any visits until the spring and says the first three schools he plans to see are Notre Dame, California and Stanford.

"I went down to the Army Combine and that went pretty well," Hanratty said. "It was a great opportunity to get my name out there and meet different kids from different areas. My bicep is messed up from the season, so I couldn't work out, but I got to watch the game which was cool."

"I think I'm going to go out to California and Stanford this April to see those schools and I'm going to make it out to the Notre Dame Spring game too, but beyond that, I'm not really sure. All three of those schools are really high academically which is what I'm looking for, so I'll definitely be looking into them."

Hanratty is the son of former Notre Dame All-American quarterback Terry Hanratty.

He currently has offers from Boston College, California, Iowa, Maryland, Notre Dame, Stanford, Syracuse, Virginia and Wisconsin.
