Bay Area DB Feeling Bears

Livermore (Calif.) Granada defensive back Josh Atkinson currently holds three offers, including two from the Pac-10. Nonetheless, Cal, where he visited for junior day, is the one school high on his list. This weekend, he will compete at Badger/New Level Athletics 7on7 Passing Camp in Las Vegas. Josh Atkinson (6'1, 190) currently holds offers from Arizona, San Jose State and Washington. However, the one school he is waiting for is California.

Atkinson along with his twin brother George visited Berkeley last weekend for Cal's Junior Day. "The visit was cool," said Atkinson. "Cal is probably my No. 1 [school] right now."

His brother has an offer from the Golden Bears. But Josh says his shouldn't be too far away.

"They are still evaluating," said Atkinson. "I talked with [DB] Coach [Al] Simmons. He says I'll likely be getting an offer soon."

Both brothers will compete this weekend at the Badger/New Level Athletics Passing Tournament/Camp in Las Vegas.
