Cal Eyeing Familiar OL Recruit

After signing Tyler Rigsbee three years ago, Cal is recruiting his younger brother, Chico (Calif.) Pleasant Valley offensive lineman Jordan Rigsbee...

Jordan Rigsbee (6-5, 285) is the top offensive line prospect in Northern California, and several schools have noticed.

"His recruiting is going well," said his father, Craig, a legendary JC coach at Butte College. "He really played well this year. Many of the coaches are saying he is one of the best they have seen."

Rigsbee is following a similar path to his older brother, Tyler, who was a four-star lineman in the class of 2008 that signed with Cal.

But while Tyler was an early verbal, doing so 15 months before he signed with the Bears and shutting down his recruitment, Jordan is going through the process and seven schools have offered him.

"He has written offers from Duke, Boise State, Washington, Cal, Washington State, Arizona and Oregon," said his father.

Rigsbee was a First Team All-State Underclass pick by in 2009.
