He is planning on taking visits this summer, but has no favorites right now and should still pick up more offers as schools have been visiting regularly.
While Rodgers has no favorites, he does like something about each school that has offered.
"I have written offers from Virginia, Minnesota, California, Oregon, Notre Dame, Boston College and Maryland," Rodgers explained. "I've been talking to Penn State, Syracuse, Michigan, Iowa and a lot of other schools too."
"I think my dad would be proud if I followed in his footsteps and they both have great things to say about their schools, but they're not really pushing me in either way. They just tell me to pick the college that's going to suit me the best for life after football, so to just pick the school that's best for me after football and a place where I can see myself fitting in for four years."
"I'm planning on taking visits to these schools that have offered this summer and I'm hoping to make it out to all of them," Rodgers mentioned. "There are a lot of things I like about each school already, so I'm excited to learn more."
As a junior, Rodgers had 49 catches for 722 yards and 17 touchdowns as a wide receiver and also played defensive end and safety where he amassed 27 solo tackles, one sack and four interceptions. He is a versatile athlete and could play a number of positions in college.
"Oregon, Virginia and Boston College like me at defensive end," said Rodgers. "Cal, Minnesota and Maryland like me at tight end and Notre Dame likes me as an outside linebacker. I really don't have any preference and am fine with whatever will help the team the most."
